THE NUTTY BEGINNING
Blame Jason.

Hey, we’re Katie and Ethan, the duo behind Jason’s Nuts.
The game was born in 1987 when Ethan’s cousin Jason, the game's namesake, and the oldest of 12 cousins, was handed the impossible task of entertaining the entire crew on Thanksgiving. Armed with a dining room table and a bowl of mixed nuts, Jason created a game that was simple, competitive, and somehow way too fun.
What started as a goofy family distraction turned into a decades-long tradition. Over the years, the rules evolved, the competition escalated, and the phrase “I've got next game!” became a holiday mantra. Eventually, we realized this game deserves to be played by more than just our extended family.
So we built Jason’s Nuts, complete with custom nut characters and a can that goes wherever the party is. No board, no batteries, just nuts, a table, and a whole lot of laughter. We hope it brings your family and friends as many ridiculous memories as it’s brought ours.
